Orlando Area Historical Rose Society - meets on the 1st Sunday of the month at Harry P Leu Gardens, 1730 N Forest Ave, Orlando at 2:30 pm (doors open at 2:00 pm). (No meetings are held Jun-Aug).
Old Garden Roses are lovely, scented and fun to grow. The Orlando Area Historical Rose Society helps you familiarize yourself with these types of roses and the pleasure of having them in your garden. The OAHRS meetings are informative and fun. Come join us!
OAHRS mission is to study the historical perspectives of old garden roses and to encourage the preservation of their heritage in our gardens and landscapes. OAHRS is an affiliate member of the American Rose Society and promotes the preservation of old garden roses through community garden projects at schools, public gardens and historical landmarks.
