Best German/East European: After a brief try at an upscale, more sophisticated restaurant, Henrich and Estera Brestowski are back concentrating on serving the best German cuisine-including that wonderful apple strudel. This is the third year in a row that we've agreed on this one.
At this cozy, Slovakian cafe Chef Henrich Brestowski serves up traditional comfort foods from the Old Country: "golubky," chicken paprikash and "svickova na smetane" to name a few. Schnitzel and spėtzle are the specialty, but save room for the homemade apple strudel.
